I LIKE BARBECUES

this weekend was fun. I went home. at home, chief had a barbecue.
and as you've probably read online from such people as chief or johnny, it was an outrageously good time.
one of the highlights was, of course, the ribs.
on thursday night, I picked up two huge slabs of ribs from a butcher
in my neighborhood. after mark's last night in town get-together, I removed the membrane and applied the dry rub. then, on friday, the ribs were transported via u-haul to schenectady. the next morning, mark made the sauce and started smoking the ribs with hickory chips. hours later, the ribs were transported, (again via u-haul,) to chief's. and oh wow. they were phenomenal. really really tender. I'm getting hungry now. I'm not going to talk about this anymore.
so anyhow, on to the good stuff:
